Our taking for granted various categories in a 

heterogeneous universe while essential, was also harmful to a

degree impossible to calculate. That categorization of reality very 

often corresponded with the facts, everyone perceived the 

drastic difference between a rock, and a person, or between living , 

and nonliving matter devoid of a nervous system, and everyone could distinguish 

between a human and non human animal but not everyone made 

separate of what was only distinguishable. *

From which we can infer that most people made separate of what was only

distinguishable.   

Thus animals from which  we theoretically evolved became our 

exploitable things,  to which we became indifferent, their pain 

suffering and anguish not withstanding,

which is a deplorable, lethal 

state demanding  a drastic universal change to a live and let live ethos.
